(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On June 7, 2012 at approximately 7:00 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer observed a blue Saturn Ion traveling northbound on Airport Line at a high rate of speed. The officer activated the RADAR and a speed of 138 km/h was obtained. Airport Line has a posted speed limit of 80 km/h.
Sherry NICKLES, age 46, from North Middlesex was issued a summons for “Race a Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speedâ€Â. She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Court – Goderich on August 21, 2012. Her driver’s licence has been seized for seven days and her motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
