(HURON EAST, ON) – A 36 year old female driver from Huron East is facing a charge of Drive Motor with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol after a single motor vehicle rollover collision that took place on North Line near Bridge Road.
Shortly after noon on December 20, 2014 Huron OPP officers responded to the collision scene on North Line south of Bridge Road. Officers located a Pontiac Sunfire in the east ditch. Officers located the uninjured female driver and while speaking with her it was determined she had been drinking alcohol.
A roadside screening test was completed and the driver registered a fail. She was arrested and subsequently transported to the Exeter OPP detachment for breath tests. She provided two samples of her breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician and both samples registered over the legal limit.
As a result, 36 year old Sherry-Lyn HUGILL from Huron East has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She has a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 2, 2015. She received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and her motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
