Sheds and Backyards Entered – Numerous Items Stolen

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday May 04, 2012, Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to an Elizabeth St. West residence where culprit(s) had made attempts to enter a locked backyard shed.

Police investigation and a neighbourhood canvas by officers revealed that between 9 p.m. Thursday evening May 03, and 8 a.m. Friday morning May 04, 2012, numerous backyards, sheds and insecure garages were entered in the north-west corner of Listowel. The following items were found to have been stolen from residences, a stainless steel 3 burner “Charmglow” barbeque, a grey zero gravity patio chair, eighteen, 12oz cans of Bush Light beer, the keys for a Honda “arrow” scooter and other small miscellaneous items.

Anyone who may have observed suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of the thefts, or who has information which will help solve these crimes, is requested to contact the North Perth OPP at (519) 291-1414, or you can call 1-888-310-1122.
