Shawn Blair – Single Vehicle Crash, Drunk Driving

(MAPLETON TWP, ON) – On Friday, December 28, 2012 at approximately 7:37 pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a single motor vehicle collision at John Street and Wood Street, in Mapleton Twp. Further information was received that the vehicle involved had left the scene and was at a nearby residence. Police spoke with the driver involved and discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Shawn Blair aged 38 of Mapleton Twp has been charged with Over 80mgs and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on January 29, 2013 to answer to the charges.
