Sexual Assault – Police Looking For Foot Licker – Photo Released

Members of the Barrie Police Service Criminal Investigations Division are seeking assistance in identifying a male suspect following a sexual assault in the City of Barrie.

On Thursday November 20th 2014, at approximately 3:15 p.m. a male suspect entered a tanning salon located on Bayfield Street in the City of Barrie and engaged the salon employee in conversation. The suspect drew her attention to her footwear and then dropped down on all fours, grabbed the employee’s leg and removed her footwear and then began licking her foot without her consent. The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as :

-male, white

-fair skin

-approximately 30 years

-5’8”, medium build

-approximately 170 lbs

– short reddish-brown hair and neatly trimmed beard

-wearing a black pea coat style jacket

Similar incidents have been reported to South Simcoe Police and York Regional Police involving this same male. The attached photograph was obtained from York Regional Police and is believed to be the suspect in the City of Barrie incidents.

Investigators believe this suspect may be responsible for other similar incidents in the City of Barrie.
