(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TOWNSHIP, HURON COUNTY, ON) –Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a historical sexual assault allegation in July 2016, and a Clifford man was charged with several offences. On August 5, 2016 another person made a complaint to the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit about a historical sexual assault that occurred in 2001 at a farm in Morris-Turnberry by the same man. He was arrested and released with court documents.
44-year-old David WINKEL of Clifford is charged with;
Sexual Assault-Criminal Code (C.C.)
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 26, 2016.
