(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A local man is now in police custody on sexual assault and robbery charges following an attack that took place on a public trail that lies between MacNaughton Park in Exeter and the Morrison Dam Conservation Area on Morrison Line.
On June 18, 2016 at around 6:30 p.m. an adult female had been out using the MacNaughton-Morrison Trail when she was attacked from behind by a stranger and sexually assaulted.
Investigators have now laid the following additional charges against Mitchell WEBSTER, 19 years of age from Exeter:
Sexual Assault
Robbery
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Two counts)
He is currently in police custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 24, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
