On March 3th, 2016 at approximately 7:50 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police and Cambridge Fire responded to a barn fire on Branchton Road in the Township of North Dumfries. Two victims were transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. One victim sustained severe injuries and was subsequently transported to Hamilton General. Ministry of Labor has been notified and leading the investigation.
