Several People Facing Marijuana Possession Charges

(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On February 15, 2013 at about 8:25pm, a County of Wellington OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Gartshore Street in Fergus. Upon questioning the lone male driver, a quantity of marijuana was turned over to police.

David Pero, age 34 of Fergus has been charged with Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 15, 2013 to answer to the charge.

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) On February 15, 2013 at about 9:00pm, a County of Wellington OPP officer investigated the two male occupants of a parked 2005 Nissan Sentra on 20 Side Road South, Puslinch Township. The officer detected the odour of freshly burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle, and as a result, a quantity of marijuana was turned over to police.

Jason Lecky, age 35 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 13, 2013 to answer to the charge.

(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On February 16, 2013 just before midnight, a County of Wellington OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Woodlawn Road, just east of Highway 6, Guelph. While speaking to the lone male driver, the officer detected the odour of fresh marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver turned over a quantity of marijuana to police.

Daniel Levesque, age 35 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 12, 2013 to answer to the charge.
