(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On February 4, 2017, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in response to a family dispute.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year old male was arrested and charged with two counts of assault after having assaulted members of his family. He was held for an audio court hearing scheduled on February 5 and was remanded into custody pending a court hearing scheduled for February 8, 2017.
The victims, both female, ages 53 and 24 respectively, sustained minor injuries.
(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – In another family dispute reported on February 5, 2017, Grey County OPP responded to a residence in the Municipality of Grey Highlands at approximately 9:52 p.m. As a result of the investigation, a 17-year old male youth was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats and mischief under $5000. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 28, 2017.
The victims, a 66-year old male and a 54-year old female, sustained minor injuries.
Alcohol was a factor in both these incidents.
