(PALMERSTON, ON) – On January 9, 2013 at about 2:34am County of Wellington OPP were advised of a domestic assault that occurred at a residence on Whites Road in Palmerston.
As a result of the investigation, a 33 year old male who had fled the scene prior to police involvement, was located at a residence in Drayton. He faces charges of Assault, Utter Threats, and Criminal Harassment, all contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is currently in custody pending a bail hearing in Guelph on January 10, 2013.
OPP do not release the names of accused persons in domestic matters to protect the identity of the victims.
