Seven Reported Break and Enters to Off-Campus Student Homes

Between July 9th and July 17th, 2016, there were seven break and enters to off-campus student homes in the area of Fleming Drive and Thurman Circle. These break and enters occurred between Friday night and Sunday mornings between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. in each of the reported incidents.

Entry was made through unlocked windows at the side and rear of the houses.

Stolen items include watches, Canadian currency, as well as small electronics.

Citizens are encouraged to be vigilant for suspicious persons approaching homes in their neighbourhood, (especially at the side and rear of homes), and to lock their doors and windows at all times.

The Crime Analysis Unit of the London Police Service detected this pattern using analytical software purchased using a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. The mapping software can be viewed at this link: http://bit.ly/TWZZxz
