(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – On Friday July 5th, 2013 at approximately 3:30pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a serious motor vehicle collision on County Rd 44 near Highway 7 of Guelph-Eramosa Township.
A southbound 2004 Toyota Camry and a northbound 2000 Chevrolet Impala collided. The passenger of the Toyota is Barry Edison age 57 of Acton. He was air lifted to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries. The drivers of the vehicles were taken to Guelph General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department assisted with the scene.
Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) is assisting with this on-going investigation.
