South Simcoe Police in association with the Innisfil Library IDEAlab, are offering a one day FREE Senior’s Police Academy, Tuesday, November 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lakeshore Branch of the Innisfil Library, 967 Innisfil Beach Road.
Police officers will be on hand to discuss everyday personal safety, our Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Services, the Police Auxiliary Unit and frauds and scams. One of our traffic officers will be on hand to give Driving Tips and talk about Distracted Driving. In addition, a special appearance by PC Jacques from our Canine Unit. Also 211 Ontario will be on scene to discuss their program, and we have special guests from the COPE Dogs!
