On April 23, 2015 officers from Waterloo Regional Police, Guelph Police, OPP and Aylmer Police were doing commercial vehicle enforcement in 3 locations across Waterloo Region. The goal of any enforcement initiative is to ensure road safety in our region. The outcome of the initiative resulted in 108 vehicles stopped with 24 vehicles being placed out of service. There were 66 charges laid including insecure loads, defective brakes, improper tires, over weight vehicles and numerous document offences.
