Seeking to identify two suspects in a serious assault

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Investigation Unit is investigating an aggravated assault and is seeking public assistance to identify two male suspects.

During the evening of October 17, 2015, the two male suspects attended a restaurant/bar in the 100 block of Clarence Street and engaged in conversation with a woman.

At 2:30am the next morning, the woman walked from the restaurant/bar with another woman to the nearby parking lot located at 141 Clarence Street. The two women were followed by both male suspects.

While the women were paying for parking, both male suspects viciously grabbed one of the women from behind and threw her through a glass window, shattering it. Once on the ground, they repeatedly kicked her in the chest and head rendering her unconscious. The 2nd woman did not sustain any serious injuries during the assault.

The suspects are described as males of Asian descent, between 25-35 years old (see pictures). In an earlier short conversation with the women they said that they were lawyers from the Toronto area.
