(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating an incident of a single gunshot fired on Sunday, February 1, 2015 between the hours of 11am and 1:00pm in the area of Cambrian Road and Greenbank Road.
On Thursday, February 5, 2015 a homeowner in the 2000 block of Nutgrove Avenue found a hole in the wall of his house and a small calibre projectile was located inside the house. He contacted police.
Investigators canvassed the area and several homeowners confirmed that they have heard gunshots in the area and that people are known to hunt in the forested area behind their area.
