(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday January 08, 2011 around 3 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer in Listowel stopped a car on Albert Ave. North. The driver, a 37 year old male resident of Listowel was administered a road side breath test. He registered a blood alcohol concentration in the “warn range†(a reading from 0.05 to 0.08 BAC).
Since this was the drivers second “warn range†reading within 5 years, his drivers licence was suspended for 7 days. He is also required to attend a mandatory alcohol education program and will have to pay a $150 Administrative Monetary Penalty. His previous suspension in November resulted in a 3 day suspension.
