Second Degree Murder Charge Laid In Wasaga Beach Stabbing

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is presently investigating the death of male who was the victim of an apparent stabbing that occurred on May 23, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Main Street.

As a result of this ongoing investigation, Police have charged a 21-year old male from Wasaga Beach with “Second Degree Murder” in relation to the death of Erick TELLO-ARIAS.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Central Region Support Team, Detectives from Crime Units throughout Central Region and West Region, the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Randy Wright of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
