(PUSLINCH TWP, ON.) – On Monday October 16, 2012 at about 8:00pm members of the County of Wellington OPP Traffic Management Unit were conducting stationary radar and monitoring traffic on County Road 34 near County Road 32, in Puslinch Twp. At this time and location Constable Sara Van Norman observed an eastbound 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander travelling well above the speed limit. Police clocked the auto on radar at 124 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Scott Stephens aged 33 of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on November 21, 2012 to answer to the charge.
