(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – On Saturday July 20, 2013 at approximately 2:04 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers set up a R.I.D.E. Program at the intersection of Wellington County Road 22 and Wellington County Road 29. A 2010 Ford entered the R.I.D.E. Program and an investigation revealed that the male driver had consumed alcohol. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Scott LACOMBE age 40 of Harriston has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on August 20, 2013 to answer to the charge.
