School Goes Into Lockdown – 16 Year Old Arrested

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at approximately 11:00 a.m., London Police attended Clarke Road Secondary School located at 300 Clarke Road, in relation to a weapons investigation. The school initiated a lockdown as a safety precaution after receiving information that a male student was in possession of what appeared to be a firearm, on school property.

The 16-year-old student left the property and was arrested a short distance away. The weapon was located and is confirmed to be an air-soft pistol.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The London Police would like to take this opportunity to remind the public that all firearms, real or fake, pose a significant threat to public safety and that our officers will consider all firearms real until determined otherwise.
