School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

On January 12, 2016, at around 10:00 a.m., William G. Davis Public School in Cambridge received a telephone call claiming there was an explosive device on the property. Within minutes the students and staff were evacuated from the school to a place of safety and police were contacted. Police searched the school and found no sign of a suspicious item. The call was determined to be unfounded and the students and staff were allowed to return to class shortly after 1:00 pm. The investigation continues.
