School Bus Involved In Collision

On October 3, 2016 at 7:10 a.m., a south-bound school bus was stopped on Kossuth Road waiting to turn left onto Speedsville Road, in Cambridge. Once traffic cleared, the male driver of the school bus attempted to make a left-hand turn when it was hit from behind by another south bound vehicle. After colliding with the bus, the 52-year-old male driver of the vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped a north bound vehicle. One student was on the bus at the time but was not injured. The driver of the south bound vehicle was charged with careless driving.
