Scheduled Military Training Exercise in Chatham-Kent

Canadian Forces have contacted the municipality to advise that residents who see helicopters in southern Chatham-Kent on Thursday should know that the Canadian Forces are conducting scheduled military training in the area this week until Friday.

Residents who see or hear military vehicles and activities are advised that Canadian Forces have selected the training site and times of activity to minimize negative impact for citizens. Safety precautions have been taken to prevent risk to the general public and the personnel involved.

This training is not open to the public and the specific training location will not be disclosed publicly.

The Canadian Forces say they wish to thank the public for their support and understanding during this exercise.
