Save Heritage Theatre Petition: Demand Town Hall Meet Fire Code

I don’t know if we have mentioned it before or not, but the second
floor of Wingham’s Town Hall is not up to fire code.  Council,
the Wingham BIA Department, and Town Staff can’t seem to find
$30,000 they estimate it would take to bring the second floor of
Town Hall up to fire code.  The WBIA Department had the money
to build the Snyder Arch Project, and had budgeted $50,000 to put
those $1,000 rope lights on every pole on Josephine Street. 
Fortunately the People were informed and made their voices heard,
and those two projects were canceled to due the Public’s righteous
indignation. 

Council and Department Heads spent over $400,000 on phase one of
Town Hall’s repairs.  Virtually all those repairs” were simply
“scrape and paint”
