1:07 pm police received a complaint of a theft of a chainsaw and weed eater from a shed in Southampton.
3:20 pm police received a report that sometime overnight someone stole some foam core insulation from a construction site on Concession #4.
14 July 2015,
10:41 am police received a report of a stolen bicycle. There were three bikes stolen at the same time but the complainant located two of them.
3:20 pm police received complaint of a zero gravity chair being stolen from a cottage in Southampton.
15 July 2015
5:57 am police received a report of a stolen vehicle. A pickup truck was stolen from a residence in Southampton. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys in the vehicle. At 5:18 pm OPP located the pick-up in Teviotdale and arrested the two occupants for possession of stolen property. Two 22 year old males, one from Chesley and one from Saugeen Reserve were held for a bail hearing.
16 July 2015,
12:59 am police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located at a downtown Port Elgin parking lot and the driver was found to have had consumed alcohol. The driver provided a roadside breath test and failed. She was arrested for Care and Control and provided breath readings at the police office of 210 mgms and 210 mgms. A 44 year old Kitchener woman was charged with Care and Control of a motor vehicle while over 80 mgms and issued a 90 day ADLS drivers licence suspension.
5:44 pm police responded to a motor vehicle collision on High St. Two vehicles were reversing from the angle parking and one struck the other. One of the drivers had backed out and waited for traffic, the second driver backed out into the first vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was charged with Start from Stopped position not in safety.
17 July 2015,
11:56 am an off duty officer observed a 35 year old female in Walkerton who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Saugeen Shores. She was arrested by the OPP and released by Saugeen Shores Police with a future court appearance.
4:05 pm police received a report of a credit card fraud. A visa had been compromised and used. Visa security is investigating. Identity fraud can cause someone many problems. Try to protect yourself as much as you can. Do not throw away any paperwork with confidential information, banking or credit card details. Keep your vehicle locked as your ownership and insurance slips can provide someone with a lot of information like your date of birth, drivers licence number and address. This type of crime may happen to you, even with precautions so try to limit documents you throw away. Invest in a small shredder, they are not expensive and could save you a lot of problems.

9:37 am police received a report that a shed had been entered two days previous and a Stihl chainsaw had been stolen.
19 July 2015,
12:07 am a person reported they had three bicycles stolen from their patio on Wellington St. One of the bikes had since been located.
12:53 am police observed a 31 year old Saugeen Shores female with open alcohol on Albert St. She was charged with having liquor in an open container in other than a licenced premises.
3:21 am police on patrol located a 20 year old male lying face down in the grass on Market St. The male was intoxicated and turned over to his mother.
7:57 am police responded to a break and enter at the Beach House at Green and Harbour St. The Lifesaving Club and Volleyball Club store items there. Four walkie-talkies were stolen. No suspects.
10:25 am police responded to a break and enter at the storage units on North Rankin St. A quantity of knives, three DVD players, Play Station 3, a Karaoke machine and women’s shoes were stolen. Saugeen Shores Police are working with the Ontario Provincial Police and have a suspect they are investigating.
10:43 am police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Goderich St. A vehicle was stopped making a turn into a private drive. A second vehicle rear ended the stopped vehicle. In all three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second vehicle was a right off and the struck vehicle received severe damage. The driver of the second vehicle was charged with Careless Driving.
11:42 pm police responded to a large bon fire in Gobles Grove. The person responsible was asked to reduce the size of the fire and complied.
