On May 15, 2015 Karyn SHARPE was placed under arrest for being in Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Investigation revealed that SHARPE was transporting drugs from Cambridge and selling them throughout Paisley and Saugeen Shores. As a result of this investigation SHARPE is currently facing 12 charges related to Trafficking and being in Possession of Controlled Substances.
Police located and seized 388 Oxycocet tablets, Hydromorphone tablets, 20 Oxyneo tablets, 7 Fiorinal tablets, 65 Oxycodone tablets, 10 vials of Cannabis resin (Hash Oil), $200 cash and 1 cellular telephone. 6 – 1.75L bottles of alcohol were also located. Further investigation revealed that SHARPE had been in possession of the 6 – 1.75L bottles of alcohol with the intent to re-sell them in Saugeen Shores. The alcohol was subsequently seized.
The accused’s vehicle, an estimated value of $15,000, was seized due to its involvement in illegal activity.
The total street value of the seized Controlled Substances is estimated at $4,450. The total street value of the sized liquor is estimated at $600.
On May 19, 2015 the Saugeen Shores Police stopped a Port Elgin man and woman at Goderich Street and Market Street, Port Elgin. As a result of this investigation the accused parties currently face charges of being in Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police located and seized a total of 9.1 grams of Crystal Meth and 3 cellular telephones.
The total street value of the seized Controlled Substances is estimated at $1,180.
On May 19, 2015 Jebediah PETERSEN was placed under arrest for being in Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. As a result of this investigation PETERSEN is currently facing 4 charges related to Trafficking and being in Possession of Controlled Substances. Police located and seized 5 grams of Crystal Meth, Hydromorphone, $190 cash, 2 cellular telephones, and numerous items related to trafficking Controlled substances.
The total street value of the seized Controlled Substances is estimated at $600.

On May 20th, 2015 at 8:00 pm police conducted a traffic stop at Victoria Street and Peel Street in the Town of Saugeen Shores. Officers could smell a strong odour of freshly burnt marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. Investigation revealed a quantity of marihuana in the vehicle. Edwin Nawash 55 years of Saugeen Reserve is charged with; Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to comply with Probation Order
As a result of the investigation police seized a total amount of 241.9 grams of marijuana with a street value of approximately $2,410. Other items consistent with drug trafficking were also seized.
