Sale of Fordwich Community Hall

Council of the Township of Howick passed Resolution No. 151/17 to sell the Fordwich Community Hall, 3092 Old Mill St, Fordwich, Township of Howick, County of Huron, by tender, “as is”, in accordance with Howick Land Disposition Policy. The lot is 51’ wide, irregular, fronting on Old Mill Street, Fordwich with an area of 3,698 sq ft and is zoned CF (Community Facility) in the Zoning By-law and designated Urban in the Official Plan.

Individuals interested in purchasing the Fordwich Community Hall must provide a tender letter to the Clerk by May 31, 2017. The tender letter must contain the municipal address of the individual, contact information, reasons for his/her request to purchase the land including the proposed or intended use, purchase price and the address and/or legal description of the said lands.
