(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) On Tuesday July 2nd 2013, at approximately 2:00pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Constable Christina Barraco was conducting moving radar on Wellington County Road 29 near Side Road 30 in Centre Wellington Township. A 2010 Toyota was observed travelling Southbound at a high rate of speed. The male driver of the motor vehicle was locked in the radar travelling at 135 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Ryan O’Malley age 25 of Fergus is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on the 7th of August 2013 to answer to the charge.
