(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On November 27, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. a Huron County OPP officer was conducting moving RADAR patrol on Base Line when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was observed traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. The officer activated the RADAR device and a speed of 133 km/h was obtained; 53 km/h above the posted 80km/h speed limit.
Ryan ESSEX, male, age 20, from Central Huron has been issued a summons for “Race a Motor Vehicleâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Act Court – Goderich on January 8, 2013. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
