(GUELPH, ON) On April 26, 2013 at approximately 1:43am a County of Wellington OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Street West near Highway 6 North in the City of Guelph. The male driver showed signs of alcohol consumption. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered, which resulted in a Fail being registered.
Ryan Beattie, age 35 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 21, 2013 to answer to the charge.
