Russell Mayne – Intoxicated Lying On Road

ROCKWOOD MAN FACING DRUG AND MISCHIEF CHARGES

(ROCKWOOD, ON) On March 26, 2013 at about 5:05pm, County of Wellington OPP officers responded to the report of an intoxicated male lying on the roadway on Main St Rockwood. The male was aggressive and un-cooperative with police. He was placed under arrest and while being transported to the Rockwood OPP detachment, the male repeatedly kicked at the rear windows and doors of the police cruiser, causing damage to both rear doors. A small amount of Marihuana was found on the male as well.

Russell Mayne, age 42 of Rockwood is facing charges of Mischief under $5,000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, and Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on May 3, 2013 to answer to the charges.
