Rural Storage Shed Entered Tools and Fuel Stolen

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday April 09, 2012, the owner of a large commercial storage shed contacted the Perth County OPP to report the theft of tools and fuel from the building.

Investigation revealed that sometime between the noon hour on Sunday April 08 and 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, unknown person(s) entered a steel-framed, fabric-covered, semi-circular shed which is located on Road 166 west of Atwood. Once the person(s) gained entry into the building they removed a DeWalt drill/impact driver set which contained a charger, #2 x 18 volt batteries. An 18 volt impact driver was also taken. A Mastercraft 18 volt cordless impact driver, a heat gun, and a John Deere weather band radio are also missing. The culprits also switched on the power to the bulk tank fuel pump and removed 312 litres of coloured diesel fuel from the tank.
