Running Red Light Results In Motorcycle Being Towed

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday August 13, 2011 around the noon hour an officer on patrol observed two motorcyclists drive through the red light at the intersection of Hwy. 8 at Perth Road 130 in Sebringville.

The Perth County OPP officer pulled over the motorcyclists, a 42 year old male from Milton and a 43 year old male from Orton and issued them both a ticket for “red light – proceed before green”. Both motorcyclists were also administered a road side breath test on which one registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 and .08

As a result he was issued a three day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
