On Tuesday January 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Truesdale Crescent, Guelph. Investigation revealed that two roommates got into an argument, and one roommate punched the other in the face breaking his jaw. The police were called, and the accused was arrested at the residence without incident.
The 21-year-old Guelph male victim was transported to the hospital where it was confirmed that his jaw had been broken in two places, and that he would require surgery to repair it.
A 25-year-old Guelph male was charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm and was held for a Bail Hearing.
