(BLUEWATER, ON) – At approximately 3:30 p.m. on October 11, 2011, Huron County OPP officers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male that refused to pay his bill and then urinated on the floor of the restaurant at the Albion Hotel in Bayfield. Officers located the male driving around in front of the bar on Main Street. Upon speaking to the male driver an officer observed him to be under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Goderich detachment to meet with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician in order to provide two samples of his breath. The male refused to provide breath samples to the technician.
As a result of the investigation, Ronald STONEMAN (64) of Hibbert Township has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving, one count of Failing to Provide a Breath Sample and one count of Indecent Acts. He will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Walkerton on December 19, 2011. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days as per statute. LP11289674
