(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday afternoon June 08, 2012, Perth County OPP officers conducted R.I.D.E. programs on Perth County’s heavily traveled east west roads. Shortly before 5 p.m. a west bound pickup truck was stopped at a R.I.D.E. program in Fullarton. The male driver of the truck was administered a roadside breath test which he failed. He was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he also failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests. The driver identified himself with a false name and was found to be a suspended from driving. Liquor was also located inside the truck within reach of the driver.
Ronald Langille (56) of Huron East has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of bloodâ€Â, “obstruct/resist peace officerâ€Â, “drive motor vehicle with liquor readily availableâ€Â, “driver fail to give identificationâ€Â, and “driving while under suspensionâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on July 09, 2012, to answer to these charges.
