(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday April 03, 2013, Perth County OPP officers were called to a Mitchell restaurant in response to a theft.
Investigation revealed that on Tuesday April 02, 2013 a male had entered the restaurant, and removed cash from a children’s charity chocolate bar sales box. The same male returned on April 03, 2013 and again removed cash from the charity box. A restaurant employee confronted and identified the male as he left the restaurant.
The male was identified as Ronald KEMP (59) of the Municipality of West Perth. Police located him in Mitchell where he was arrested. He has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, and is scheduled to appear at the Stratford Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on May 13, 2013, to answer to these charges.
