Rollover Collision – 17 Year Old Transported To London Hospital

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently at the scene of a single vehicle rollover collision that took place earlier this evening west of Londesborough. Huron County OPP officers, Huron County EMS and Blyth Fire Department personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call from a passerby just after 8:30 p.m. Within minutes emergency crews arrived at the collision scene located on Dutch Line between Hullet-McKILLOP Road and Londesboro Road.

Preliminary investigation has revealed the lone occupant of a Honda Civic was driving northbound on Dutch Line when he lost control of his vehicle on the gravel roadway. His vehicle entered the east ditch and subsequently rolled. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver, 17 year old Benjamin NONKES from Central Huron was transported to hospital in London with life threatening injuries.

OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are currently on scene investigating the collision.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
