Rodney Roden – Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checkpoint set up on June 24, 2012 at the intersection of Londesboro Road and Base Line resulted in an over 80 milligram charge against a male driver. Just after midnight, a Ford Windstar minivan traveling eastbound on Londesboro Road entered the checkpoint.

Upon speaking with the male driver, an officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. Open alcohol was also observed inside the van. Rodney RODEN, age 34, from Huron East has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol and Drive Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available. A court date is scheduled for July 30, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
