(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Thursday January 05, 2012 around 11:30 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a residence on Perth Line 39 (north of Stratford) where a suspicious male was seen at a residence.
Perth County OPP officers attended at the rural residence and located a male with a red Saturn car. A check with Waterloo Regional Police revealed that the car had been reported stolen on January 4th from their jurisdiction. The male was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Robert Metcalfe (27) of Heidelberg has been charged with “possession of property obtained by crime under $5000â€Â. He is scheduled to appear by video for a bail hearing in Stratford Bail Court on Monday January 09, 2012.
