Robert Marriage – Flight From Police, Drive While Suspended

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On April 16, 2012 just prior to 1:00 a.m. Huron County OPP officers attempted to stop a Ford Taurus on Albert Street in Clinton. The driver of the Taurus failed to pull over and stop when the emergency lights of the police vehicle were activated. He drove a short distance, parked his vehicle and took off running behind an apartment complex. Officers gave chase on foot and were able to successfully locate and arrest the male driver. A driver’s licence check was completed which revealed the driver had a suspended licence.

As a result, Robert MARRIAGE, age 37, from Central Huron has been charged with Flight from Police Officer and Driving While Under Suspension. He has a court date scheduled for Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on May 7, 2012. LP12099673
