Robbery suspect to be identified

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a convenience store robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.

On May 11, 2015, at approximately 2:35 pm, a lone male entered a convenience store situated along the 0-100 block of Jolliet Street. The male was brandishing a large kitchen knife as he entered. The suspect demanded money. The suspect fled the premise with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 20-25 years, stocky build, bald or hair is cut to the skin. He was wearing a Halloween style mask in the form of a white cat, and a black Nike winter coat.
