Robbery suspect to be identified

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the robbery of a gas station and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.

On August 23, 2015, at approximately 1:15 am, a lone male suspect entered a gas station situated near Cyrville Road/St. Laurent Boulevard. The suspect, armed with a knife, leapt onto the counter and made a demand for cash. The suspect obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash and then also demanded cigarettes. The suspect obtained a small quantity of cigarettes and then fled the premises. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 35-45 years, slim build, and clean shaven. At the time he wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with Canada written on a sleeve, a blue baseball cap, dark shorts, and glasses with a black frame (images attached.).
