On Wednesday August 3rd, 2016 at approximately 4:10 p.m, a 60 year old female walked along the Trail that runs north and south, along the West side of the RHVP. While walking south towards Queenston Road, two males rode up behind her also heading south. She stopped on the right side of the trail to allow them to pass. The first male suspect, without stopping his bicycle, grabbed her purse that she was wearing with the strap across her chest. She held onto her purse which caused the bicycle to slow down, but the suspect still held on. The suspect yelled at her several times getting angry. The suspect was still pulling while on the bicycle, which caused the female victim to fall backwards. She let go of the purse while falling to the ground and both male suspects continued to ride south and made good their escape with the purse. She called police when she arrived home.
