On the 14th of May 2015, at 3:30am, Barrie Police responded to a robbery call at the Pioneer gas station at 565 Yonge Street. A night clerk called 911 after being robbed at gun point for an unknown amount of money. The suspect, described as a white male, medium build with some facial hair, wearing a dark hooded sweater and a hat fled the area on a bicycle. The area was searched, but the suspect could not be located. Any information regarding this robbery can be forwarded to the Barrie Police at 705-725-7025.

A 40yr old Barrie woman was transported to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center following a motor vehicle collision at the Wellington Plaza – 165 Wellington street. The minor injuries were sustained after a 74yr old woman struck 4 cars and and the pedestrian at a high rate of speed inside the parking lot. No charges pending, but the collision is still under investigation.
