Robbery (Chatham)

On Tuesday the 26th of August 2014 at about 9:25 p.m. Chatham-Kent Police responded to a robbery call at Mac’s Convenience at 170 McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham. A lone male had entered the store and demanded money. No weapon was observed and the male fled when the employee went to the phone to call police. Shortly after receiving the call police were able to locate the suspect and arrested him.

The suspect, a 18 year old male from Chatham, was held for a bail hearing charged with Attempt Robbery.
