On February 18, 2016 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a lone male entered the Stop 2 Shop located at 491 Highland Road West Kitchener and purchased a chocolate bar. As the male attempted to purchase the item, he also slid the employee a note demanding money, suggesting he had a gun. No gun was seen and the suspect fled on foot. The male is described as a white, 6’0, wearing a dark green jacket, a black hat with yellow trim, blue jeans and black shoes. The clerk was not injured as a result of this incident.
