On November 30, 2016 at 4:55 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Sobeys store on Bridgeport Road in Waterloo. A male entered the store, approached the cashier and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount of money was handed over and the suspect fled on a silver mountain bike on Bridgeport Road, towards King Street. The suspect is described as a white man, six-feet to six-feet-two-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, jeans and sneakers.
